These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern all contractual relationships between the brand Brussels Maps represented by Christophe Penners (hereinafter referred to as "the Publisher", "we") and any natural or legal person (hereinafter referred to as "the Customer" or "you") making a purchase on the site. www.brusselsmaps.be.
Any order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTCS. They are drafted in accordance with the Belgian Economic Law Code and the rules of electronic commerce in the European Union..

Offered products
Our online store offers a collection of decorative maps, personalized wall posters, and handcrafted posters representing Brussels, its municipalities, and its iconic places.
Each piece is designed and printed in Belgium using sustainable materials, on premium FSC-certified paper with UV-resistant inks.
The visuals presented are non-contractual. Slight color variations may occur depending on screens and printing processes.

Enter the shipping and billing information.
Choose your payment method.
Confirm the order.
A summary confirmation email will be sent to you upon validation. This email formalizes the contractual agreement between Brussels Maps and the Customer.
Refusal or cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel any order in case of payment issues, incorrect information, or suspicion of fraud.

Price
The displayed prices are indicated in euros (€) all taxes included (TTC). They include the applicable VAT in Belgium and, where applicable, in the European Union. Delivery charges appear before order confirmation.

Right of withdrawal and returns
In accordance with the Belgian Economic Law Code (Book VI), you have a 14-day period from receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal without justification.
📌 Exception: personalizedproducts(e.g., map with custom pictogram or address) are not neither exchangeable nor refundable.
Return procedure

Return the product in its original packaging and in perfect condition.
Return shipping costs are your responsibility.
The refund will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned product.
Legal warranty
All our products are covered by the 2-year legal conformity warranty provided by Belgian and European legislation.
It covers manufacturing defects or non-conformities occurring under normal use conditions.
Not covered:
Normal wear and tear
Damage due to improper use or storage
Alterations due to prolonged exposure to light or moisture
Liabilities
Brussels Maps cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from:
improper use of the products,
inability to access the site,
technical interruptions beyond our control,
force majeure.

Your data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the GDPR(EU 2016/679). They are used solely for order management, delivery, and customer relations.
Intellectual property
All content on the site (texts, images, maps, logos, posters) is protected by copyright.
Any reproduction or distribution without prior authorization is strictly prohibited.
Applicable law and competent jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law.
Any disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Brussels.
