In addition to your legal rights, we go further with our “30-Day Serenity” commercial warranty, which provides for the free replacement of any product with a defect or damage within 30 days of receipt. This policy describes your warranty rights, the conditions of application, and the steps to follow.
It applies to all products sold on www.brusselsmaps.be, including decorative maps, wall posters, and handmade posters delivered in Belgium 🇧🇪 and in the European Union 🇪🇺.
Legal conformity warranty – Your essential rights
Legal basis
Under the Belgian Economic Law Code (Book VI) and the European Directive 2019/771, you benefit from a legal warranty of 2 years automatically applicable to all standard products.
This warranty covers defects in conformity, description errors, and manufacturing issues.
Conditions of application
A product is considered non-conforming if it:
does not match the provided description;
does not work as intended;
has a design or material defect.
Duration: 2 years from the date of delivery. Proof of purchase (invoice or confirmation email) may be requested.
Customized products – Specific conditions
Our customized products (adding pictograms, addresses, or graphic elements) are made to order.
In accordance with the law, they are not covered by the right of withdrawal nor by the legal warranty, except in the case of a manufacturing defect or an error attributable to Brussels Maps..

Commercial warranty “30-Day Serenity”
In addition to your legal rights, we offer you our commercial warranty “30-Day Serenity”, completely free.
Contents of the warranty
Free replacement within 30 days: if a defect or damage appears within 30 days of receipt, we will replace your product at no cost.
Simple visual proof (photo) required.
Full refund if the product is no longer available.
Example: If your poster arrives slightly damaged due to transport, just send a photo by email. We will immediately send you a new version, at no additional cost.

Steps to follow
To assert your rights under the legal or commercial warranty:

Attach clear photos of the observed defect.
Provide your order number or invoice.
Follow the return instructions provided by our team.
Once the product is received, we will proceed with your choice of:
a replacement,
a repair,
or a full refund.
Limitations and exclusions of warranty
The warranty does not cover:
normal wear and tear from use;
damage due to improper handling or inadequate storage;
damage caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight, moisture, or chemicals;
unauthorized modifications made to the product;
damage due to poorly packaged returns.
After-sales service and support
Our after-sales service (SAV) is available for any questions regarding the warranty, replacement, or repair of your product.
We are committed to processing all requests within a maximum of 5 business days from their receipt.
